Every timestamp is written by the server in UTC. No browser clock is ever trusted.
History cannot be rewritten
Events are append-only. A record can be corrected, but the correction is itself recorded.
Paused time is not counted
Elapsed time banks each active interval, so pauses are excluded and nothing is lost.
Nothing is invented
Answers are labelled as recorded, derived, or unknown. TAL never fills gaps with guesses.
